A Look into the Growth of twitch Streamers

Due to the quarantine in early 2020, streamers on the platform twitch.tv have been able to engage with their viewers on an almost daily basis, keeping the creator employed and the viewer entertained. An influx of creators and viewers caused the website to evolve to better represent our society and shift away from a solely video game-oriented service. twitch.tv has always had a place within geek culture, but because of the changes brought upon during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has a larger and more prevalent place in our society.
