Richard Acquah-Sarpong

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Western Rural Development Center at the University of Idaho.

I am an applied microeconomist with research interests in regional development, public, and environmental economics. I employ quasi-experimental methods to investigate the impact of place-based policies and climate-related risks on firm behavior, competitiveness, and growth, as well as their implications for regional and community development.
