Research

My research examines the human and social dimensions of environmental change, focusing on how cultural traits shape wildfire perceptions and how farmers and ranchers experience, cope with, and adapt to climate-related stress and grief. I bring this work into practice through an ongoing project with the OSU Extension Program on mental health impacts of climate change for agricultural producers, alongside past projects spanning fire preparedness, evacuation planning, and policy analysis.
