The store hours at the TekBots Store in the Kelley Engineering Center are limited by available student volunteer hours. A secure system for obtaining engineering kits would increase the store's accessibility to students.
The project, upon completion, will be used at OSU's TekBots store to allow products to be retrieved by customers without requiring employee action.
For this project, we are designing a lock box that is IoT (Internet of Things) capable, meaning it can be accessed through the Internet.
The scope of this project includes design of a power supply system, secure system control board, and client-server database system.
This project has been presented by and will be delivered to Donald Heer, manager of TekBots and instructor for the 2019-2020 class of Senior Design.
