Overview of new CoP requirements
Students no longer need to generate online content
Students no longer need to provide feedback to an administrator or coordinator
Instead of attending two organizational meetings and one event, students now only need to attend 2 events and meetings are now counted as events
Overview of New mentorship option
Poll interests and brainstorm events
Members expressed most interest in power systems and high frequency front-end systems
Members expressed interest in panel style events where people talk about their professional experience

Introduced members and got an idea of what everyone wanted from the CoP
Covered CoP requirements and brainstormed ideas for events to host

Panels on Batteries and Power systems on the 6th
Two opportunities for high school outreach, a pen pal option and a seminar on November 17th.
A Seminar with OSU graduates on their experience in industry
Covered extra credit rules for CoP as detailed in updated professional development assignment description
Split into breakout rooms to brainstorm ideas on generating content. Some students volunteered to create pages on specific subjects for the websites content page.
Added all attendees to edit privileges on the website, and gave overview of the website
Moved next meeting to the 19th from the 26th

Discussed final survey, which will be posted here as well as emailed out after being updated for Fall 2020

Additional panel sessions, especially related to careers
Use a program such as Piazza to coordinate discussion and content.

A panel or overview of RF topics. Specific interest in passive blocks and filters.
An optional side project for CoP members to work on and gain experience. I will present some ideas in the first meeting of next term. Specific interest in a project spanning CS and ECE topics.
Introduce a more CS focused community of practice. I will need to discuss this with Don and Rachel, but will share the results of that in the first meeting of next term.
