Welcome!

My name is Charlie Thompson, I am a PhD candidate in OSU's applied economics program.  My work relates to the fields of environmental economics particularly around climate change.  I also focus on economic history,  experimental, and behavioral economics.   My current paper uses an incentivized experiment to test how social preferences and framing impact WTP for CO2 mitigation.  I will be on the job market during the 2023-2024 season. 

Prior to my PhD I received a MA from OSU in applied economics.  I am originally from New Jersey, and I received my Bachelors in Economics and History from The College of New Jersey.
