Please include your full name as listed in your registration in the transaction subject followed by "Cascadia Classic Payment" ex. "John Smith Cascadia Classic Payment"
All couples must dance at their level as determined by YCN point systems in each style (styles are Standard, Smooth, Rhythm, and Latin).
A competitor is ineligible for an event if they have accumulated more than 7 YCN points in a majority of dances in an event at a particular level.

A competitor is ineligible to compete in a newcomer event if they have timed out of the newcomer level, meaning they have been actively competing for more than 1 year.
The International Standard and Latin styles will use the ISTD, WDSF, and USA Dance syllabi
The American Rhythm and Smooth styles will use the following syllabi: NDCA, DVIDA, FADS and AM
Continuity & Open Footwork: No continuity or open footwork is allowed in Newcomer and Bronze events.
No lifts allowed
There are no costume restrictions at the Cascadia Classic bar common decency.
Shoes: It is mandatory that all competitors wear appropriate dance shoes on the dance floor, street shoes are not recommended.
The Judging panel and the Chairperson will be responsible for decisions made regarding problems of scores, ties, and invigilation.
The organizers have the right to eject anyone from the premises for unruly conduct or for violation of any of the rules or guidelines. Flagrant disregard of any of the rules or regulations will result in a mark down of placement or in a disqualification where necessary.
The DanceSport Team at OSU is not liable for any property lost or damaged and injury or other misfortune that occurs during the competition.
Photos and videos are permitted at the event. We remind all attendees to be aware of copyright laws and to please be considerate when using photographs taken by professional or semi-professional photographers at our competition.
