Meet Your Teachers

Hello! I'm Ms. Fink, and I teach 5th Grade English Language Arts on the Green 1 team.

This is my 13th year in the Oregon School District and my 8th year at Rome Corners Intermediate School, all in special education. Overall, I have spent more than 22 years teaching and supporting learners from preschool through adulthood in both regular and special education.

I am excited to bring my passion for literacy into the classroom and help students develop a lifelong love of reading, writing, and learning.

I grew up in Marshfield, WI, and earned a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. I later completed my teaching certifications through Concordia University and the American Board.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my 2 children, Abby, a sophomore at OHS, and Brett, who is beginning his 3rd year at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. I also love reading, especially historical fiction and traveling whenever I have the opportunity. Scotland is one of my favorite places, and I hope to visit again someday!

Hello! My name is Ms. Storie and I am the Special Education Teacher this year on Green 1. This will be my 4th year in teaching, and my first year in the Oregon School District!

I grew up in New Richmond, Wisconsin and attended college at UW- La Crosse. After College I moved to the Madison area where I taught in Sun Prairie for 3 years.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and dog, Millie. I enjoy being outdoors, reading, cooking/baking, and watching sports! I also enjoy traveling and had the opportunity to travel to Europe and New York last summer. This summer I took a road trip to Utah! 

I am so excited for this school year!

Hey there!  I am Mrs. Uhlmann and I am teaching Math, Science, and Social Studies this year in Green 1.  This is my 19th year of teaching, and I just finished a 5 year position as the Math Interventionist.  I am so excited to take everything I learned and bring it back to the classroom!

I grew up here in Oregon, and received my education degree at Edgewood College, and my Master's in Mathematics Education at Ball State.

My husband Matt and I have 5 children: Ethan (a teacher in Yellow 1), Carter, Brittyn, Kendyl, and Owen.  I love to bake desserts, dance, and workout.

We will have so much fun this year!
