Oregon Summer Learning Challenge

The beginning of summer and the close of the 2016-2017 school year is always an exciting time. However the months away from school can result in a loss of knowledge often referred to as the “summer slide”. The Oregon Summer Learning Challenge raises awareness of the summer loss epidemic, shares research on the importance of summer learning activities, and provides access to a variety of free resources for parents and students. These resources can be used to by schools, libraries, and classrooms to develop their own Summer Learning Challenges! Help students set goals, track progress, and reward growth using the resources provided!
