We host the Raising the Bar meet annually in January. Any school or individual interested in competing is invited. It is a great team-building activity for football teams. Last year we had 175 lifters participate in the 7th Annual meet. Clay HS won the boys competition and Northview was runner-up. Clay also won the girls competition and South Central was runner-up. Other schools represented include: Allen East, Genoa, Marysville, Montpelier, New London, Oak Harbor, Springfield, Toledo Christian, Vermillion and Western Reserve. A few meet and club records were broken and all had a good time. Our next meet is scheduled for January 24, 2026.

TIME: Lifting starts at 10:00am
EVENTS: Bench Press, Squat & Deadlift
ENTRY: $10 per lifter
Boys Weight Classes: 125, 135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 185, 195, 210, 225, 250, Unlimited
Girls Weight Classes: 115, 125, 135, 145, 155, 175, 195, 225, Unlimited
Awards: Individual medals in each weight class for 1st - 5th Place (Boys) & 1st - 3rd Place (Girls). Trophies to the top two boys teams & top two girls teams. Top Pound-for-Pound Individual Male and Female Champion Trophies.
