Mrs. Hand
Mrs. Hand has been teaching Language Arts for 20 years. This is her 9th year at ORCA.
Things Mrs. Hand is passionate about are teaching, writing, reading, hiking, animals, traveling, movies, and spending time with her family.
Taylor Byrne
Taylor Byrne is a junior and has been at ORCA for seven years.
She enjoys spending her free time reading, writing, drawing, playing video games, and working at a doggy daycare.

The Waves: Literary Magazine couldn't be possible without the help and support of many. Our "Legends" section gives praise and recognition for the hardworking individuals who have contributed to managing the literary magazine!
Grace Peterson
Grace Peterson, founder of The Waves and previous senior and Student Government President, had attended ORCA since kindergarten.
Under her pen name, she's been published with not a type Magazine, Poor Yorick Literary, Wild Greens Magazine, among others.
She spent her time reading, writing, and working as a bobarista.
Victoria Fischer
Victoria Fischer was a sophomore, and in her fifth year at ORCA.
Between spending time with her horse and dog, she enjoyed reading and writing. She loved crafts and being creative, particularly through making her polymer clay accessories.
