 Below, you'll find the schedule of events (subject to change) for throughout the weekend. Join the activities you want to make it a weekend to remember!

Friday 

3:30 pm: Arrivals begin! Registration at the Uphill Social Hall ("USH") porch.

Help the Order of the Leaf donate non-perishable food to a local food bank! Bring canned, boxed and bottled goods to Reunion Weekend as we support the local community that has helped us so greatly for many years. 

5:00 pm-6:00 pm: Welcome Reception on the USH Porch

6:15 pm-7:15 pm:  Shabbat Dinner in the Dining Tent (Located at the Uphill Ballfield)

7:30 pm: Basketball, Tennis and Pickleball (Located Downhill)

7:30pm: Shabbat service at the Welcome Center with Cantor Jake Greenberg

8:00 pm: S'mores and More at the Campfire Site, with Dave Horowitz & Josh Karp.

9:00 pm-11:00 pm: Cabana Night with Matt Barr, Linda Esterson, Ryan Pine & Eric Tublin, back in the Cabana! Milkshakes and grilled cheese, ice cream & toppings, freshly-made gourmet vegan banana ice cream and other fruit sorbets. (Sponsored by Steve Goldklang.)

Saturday

8:30 am-9:30 am: Breakfast in the Dining Tent

9:30 am-11:30 am: Pickleball with Steve Goldklang and Joel Mirmelstein (Downhill). Intermediate and Advanced players only for this session. Beginners are welcome to the afternoon session.

9:30 am: Various sports happening Downhill, including basketball, tennis, volleyball, spikeball.

10:00 am-12:00 pm: Downhill Bunk Row remembrance project update and walking tour. Meet at the Welcome Center porch, where Sid Goldstein will give an overview of the history of Airy's original senior camp bunks (in service from 1927-1963). Then head downhill, where Sid will lead a walking tour of the site along a newly-restored path.

10:00 am-12:00pm:  Hike to Thurmont Vista with Josh Karp & Dave Horowitz (meet at Campteen)

10:00 am-12:00pm: FunFactAiry Arts and Crafts (Uphill) with Marilyn Riffkin

10:30 am: CANCELLED DUE TO FIELD CONDITIONS. Jason's Home Run Derby, on the downhill ball field.

11:00 am-4:00 pm: Camp Louise is open to visit friends attending Circle. Please wear your Leaf lanyards for admission and while visiting.  Visitors from Circle are likewise welcome at Airy. (Lunch is not included while visiting, thanks for your understanding.)

12:30 pm-1:30 pm: Lunch in the Dining Tent

1:45 pm-2:45 pm: "Thinking About the Holocaust" (an interactive discussion), followed by "A Personal Recovery Story," with Warren Marcus in the Welcome Center.

Warren is a retired educator who taught middle and high school for 17 years, and worked at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum for 26 more.

Warren retired in 2019. His life was turned upside-down a year later, when he barely survived a near-fatal cycling accident near his home. During his first year of recovery, he wrote a book "I Shouldn't Be Here" about breaking his neck, and wrestling with how and why he survived. He will discuss his experience, using illustrations and readings.

2:00 pm-4:30 pm: Various sports happening Downhill. Pickleball open to all levels.

2:00 pm-4:30 pm: Pool Party with Julian Levin, sponsored by Dave Berger. No alcohol allowed.

2:00 pm-3:45 pm: Tie-dye with "Emperor" Greg Derrick at Creative Arts (fka Downhill Arts & Crafts). BYO 100% cotton T-shirts (available at Dollar General in Thurmont) or other items for dyeing--the process takes about 20 minutes.

2:15 pm-3:00 pm: Kona Ice Truck uphill, sponsored by Joe Band.

3:00 pm - 4:45 pm: Wine tasting on the Health Center porch, with Eric & Bets Bloom (sponsored by the 1973 CITs)

3:15 pm-4:15 pm: Kona Ice Truck downhill, sponsored by Larry Polen

5:00 pm: Social Hour with snacks at the Dining Tent

5:45 pm: Group photo at Dining Tent. Please wear your Reunion t-shirt if you received one.

6:00 pm: Order of the Leaf Ceremony at Dining Tent, including the Lifetime Passion Award presentation to Steve Goldklang . Program printing sponsored by Larry Block.

Note: Please take your lanyards if leaving Airy.  Those returning after 9:00 pm will be asked to show their lanyards at the gate.

7:00 pm-8:00 pm: Dinner in the Dining Tent

8:15 pm: Havdalah with Cantor Jake Greenberg at the Village Row basketball court.

8:40 pm: Basketball night finals at the Village Row basketball court.

9:00 pm: S'mores and More at the Campfire Site, with Dave Horowitz & Josh Karp.

9:45-10:30 pm: Late Night Rocky's Pizza Party (Uphill Social Hall Porch) for those staying overnight, sponsored by Mr. No Cheese. Redeem the ticket in your badge holder for two slices, or take a whole pizza if you bring four tickets. Any pizza remaining at 10:30 is free for the taking, without tickets.

Sunday
