Assessments
All OISD 3rd graders and any new to the district 4th and 5th graders will be assessed for the Highly Capable Program. Students on campus will be tested using the CogAt (Cognitive Abilities Test). When language may be a barrier and/or creativity seems to be a talent the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking may be used. For students enrolled in OASIS and not on campus a Portfolio of Evidence will be collected and reviewed.
