The mission of the Digital Marketing Collaborative (DMC) is to provide a unique learning environment that promotes student achievement through a project-based, career-focused curriculum, challenging students to academically and socially excel in high school and beyond.
DMC is a California Partnership Academy funded by Prop 98 in 1988. The California Partnership Academies (CPA) per California Education Code (EC) sections 54690-54697 represent a high school reform movement that is focused on smaller learning communities with a career focus. Academy components include rigorous academics and career technical education within a career field, a committed team of teachers, and active business and post-secondary partnerships.
Founded in 1988, the academy has had a few different names, most notably the Collaborative Technology Program (CTP). In 2020, the academy had an opportunity to rebrand and incorporate the first state-of-the-art SPYDER Lab in our district. We became the Digital Marketing Collaborative.
