My name is Wilder Grimes and the focus of my project is journalism. For my project, I've been writing articles for The Herald. My mentor, Sandy Vondrasek, is a former writer and editor for The Herald.

My product is a portfolio of articles that I've written, both from The Herald and two articles that I wrote for the Racial Justice Magazine.

My goals for the project were:

1. To get comfortable interviewing people I don't know

2. To understand and adjust to the writing format of articles

3. To have at least 15 published articles by the end of my project

4. To receive writing assignments

I have come a long way since the beginning of this project, and I'm looking forward to sharing my progress with you!
