For my senior project I am doing a job shadow of public defender Kelly Green. I have been and will continue to learn about the criminal justice system at the state and federal level by tagging along with Kelly as she works her many cases. I have also been doing some reading of cases and listening to podcasts that are relevant to the topic, and will continue to do so.
My goals for this project:
Develop a blanket understanding of the criminal justice system
Learn what working as a public defender actually looks like
Figure out if law is something I want to pursue further
