journal entries

Below are ten journal entries that I wrote in the earliest stages of my project, at the end of last year. These journals show my process of early songwriting and my feelings surrounding the studio phase that was yet to come. I did my reflecting about my time in the studio in my final journal entry.

#1

My first journal entry. This was written by me right after my first meeting with my mentor, Vincent Freeman.

#2

This is a journal I wrote when I was beginning my first song. I had recently ended a relationship in my life that had been holding me down and silencing my voice for years. I was coping with my emotions through music. This is where my inspiration "lost" came from.
