I spent more hours than I've recorded here. You can only have up to 5 hours of time dedicated to your paper counting towards the final hours spent which I hadn't realized until my most recent panel meeting. Even with those hours erased I still had 31.5 hours. Most of my hours are with my mentor, I found these hours the most valuable in my learning. It makes many years to get the feel of being a farrier, so I took all the opportunities I could get to work with my mentor.
