This picture was my first attempt at a long-tail cast on. I ended up having to redo it because it was too tight around my needle and I couldn't work with it.
This is a progress picture of my 11x11 knitted square. In this picture I crocheted 9 out of the 11 rows.
This was my first attempt at "casting off", to do this I watched a YouTube video since my mentor wasn't present.
This was my attempt at the Seed Stitch.
My first truly knit square.
My mentor had me knit a "headband" to practice the Ribbed Stitch. Once I felt I got the hang of it I casted off so I could work on my final product.
The strap of my bag is a combination of Knit and Purl Stitches. To make the ribbed effect and give it a different but appealing look that would blend well with the rest of the bag, I knit two rows and then purled two rows.
The finished product! A bag that fits my 32oz waterbottle
