What is a WEP?
A WEP, or Written Education Plan, is a document detailing the goals and program components that will be utilized by staff throughout the school year to meet the needs of your gifted student. Your child's WEP will arrive electronically, via email, in the Fall each year. The WEP is provided to parents in digital format. Please save the WEP for your records. These goals align with state curriculum standards. Careful planning to differentiate according to each student's needs will occur by each service provider. If you have any questions regarding your child's WEP, please do not hesitate to contact the Gifted Intervention Specialists at OHS or the Gifted Coordinator.
