What is a WEP?
A WEP, or Written Education Plan, is a document that outlines the goals of service for students who are gifted. These goals must include measurable academic goals and may also include affective goals, detailing program components that will be utilized by staff throughout the school year to meet the needs of your gifted student. The WEP is provided to parents in digital format. Your child's WEP arrived electronically, via a link sent through SameGoal, in November 2024. Please save the WEP for your records. These goals align with state curriculum standards. Careful planning to differentiate according to each student's needs will occur by each service provider. If you have any questions regarding your child's WEP, please do not hesitate to contact the Gifted Intervention Specialists at OHS or the Gifted Coordinator.
