Engineered to perform, the Ender is reliable, efficient, and user-friendly. Thanks to its support of a wide range of materials, it’s suitable for a huge variety of applications, from prototypes to customized tools. It’s a great all-around 3D printer that delivers consistent results. We have one Ender 6 and One Creality SE machine.

There are window laptop and desktops computers available to create designs for all of the machines. The software that is needed for each machine is pre-loaded on the computers to give a access in or out of the lab. There is a list of FREE software, on the software page, that can be downloaded on a personal computer that will export files to be used in the lab.

How to Solder

One of the most popular machines in the lab, the Laser Cutters can cut and etch wood and certain plastics and materials. When the laser cuts, it burns all the way through the material. When it etches, it burns the surface of the material, but it does not burn very deep. A list of materials stocked for use with the laser cutter is available in the lab. 

In our wood working area (inside of room with gantry shopbot) there are tools that include, but not limited to, sanders, drill press, saw, power drill and more. If you are creating gears or large furniture there are manual tools that can help your project. 

The Roland GX-24 Vinyl Cutter are an easy to use, versatile machine capable of quickly producing custom vinyl signs, stencils, logos, or decals.  Create a design using Corel Draw, or using any vector art package such as Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape that can be imported into Corel Draw. Choose a color from more than 15 different stocked vinyl rolls. Customized vinyl designs  give your project a finished, polished look.
