English IV

I enjoyed this assignment because i finally got to watch the great Gatsby and it was not what i expected but it to be in a sense of the title I originally thought it was gonna be something else but it was about Gatsby trying to be reunited with daisy and a whole bunch of bad stuff happened. But thought the whole story I feel like Nick Caraway was one of the most relatable characters and down to earth people it was a great movie.

This assignment was a very good assignment that i loved due to the fact that I got to learned more about Shakespeare sonnet 18. I learned about the rhythmic pattern that the poem had in itself which was very unique and mind blowing to me that a piece of poetry like this exist. The way he describe his love, how he wants it last for eternity and how she felt like the warm summer day to him and the metaphor he used really connected to me in a lot of different ways  

This assignment was a long assignment to complete. It took months on end to complete reading interpreting a book called Sing unburied Sing by Jesymn Ward. The book was a very good. It had developing characters who stuck to realty and also the book included a lot of symbolic meaning from different African cultures it was interesting but the constant reading, interpreting and writing made me struggle a little bit because i did not want my grade affected 

I loved this assignment. Mostly because it did not take me along time to do but I still produced a very good quality poem that meant a lot to me. In the end the poem got a really fantastic grade I was able to share it with the class and they all liked it that is  why i Loved this assignment
