About Me 

I was born on the island of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and moved to New Jersey in the 10th grade in the middle of the school year.  I started my new high school at Barringer High in Newark and I lived on the same block of the school.  In high school, I was the Editor of the Yearbook and Newspaper for two years.  I was also a student council member and a student photographer.  I graduated from Barringer High School in Newark and went onto Trenton State College on a full scholarship.  My sophomore year I transferred to Rutgers Newark and graduated from Rutgers University with a Marketing degree.  

I have two daughters who now live in Washington, D.C. together.  My eldest daughter attended Towson University near Baltimore, MD, and my youngest is a senior who attends Howard University.  She is a Pre-med student and wants to become an Orthopedic Surgeon.
