Research Data and design

Assignment: This is an assignment where I had to begin my research paper for my capstone along with my group. Each one of us had to write an introduction paragraph separately. In our paragraphs we introduced an problem that we wanted to focus on and we all decided on obesity in children & young adults. I learned that in order to have a really good paper you have to take your time and know how to use your words.

Reflection:  Although my paragraph was really good in my and my teacher's opinion, my thesis statement could have been much stronger. This was the beginning of my paper so I did not have a lot of the information I needed to write a stronger thesis statement. For future reference I will do my best to make my thesis statement stronger. Other than that I did very well on this assignment.

Assignment: This assignment was given to start off my lit review for my capstone. We had to write an introduction that would begin our paper.  I had to introduce the topic and write what would be in the paper. During this assignment I learned that it's not okay to rush through your assignments especially assignments like this one.

Reflection: This isn't my best work. I felt like I rushed the entire thing just to be done. This was the original topic we were going to do our capstone on but we ended up changing it. This assignment was completed as a part of our unit about the lit review paper.  To complete this assignment first I thought of a really good topic that's not talked about a lot then I gathered some research on it. Fianlly I wrote an introduction paragraph on it.

Assignment: This assignment was assigned to us to write the first section of our lit review.  The objective was to help our teachers get an understanding of what our paper and capstone will be about. This assignment fits into the overall unit because it helps us work up to completing our paper. During this assignment I learned that long papers like this come with a lot of work and effort.

Reflection: Me and my peers worked really well with this assignment. We communicated with each other to ensure we did our best. I am proud of myself along with my peers because we did very well and received a well-deserved high grade.  This section was very detailed and stated important information about our topic. 

Assignment: During this assignment we had to write an argumentative essay based on three documents. The objective of this assignment was to strength our writing skills and let our teach get an understanding of how strong our writing is. This assignment fits into the overall unit since it helps our teach in helping us improve our writing. During this assignment I learned how to manage my time better when writing essays because we only had so much time to write it.

Reflection: When it comes to assignments with limited time I have trouble completing this because I feel like I can't finish in time. So I was sort of stressing the entire time while trying to complete. I ended up completing it in time but it wasn't my best work. I know that I am capable of doing much better. For future reference I will push myself harder and try to prataice before hand.
