Afterwards they would write an essay utilizing AI software as a template and then make necessary edits to make it it there own original work.

Give several reasons why the murder case and conviction of Richard Crafts for the murder of Helle Crafts was so unusual and significant. In your answer describe the role of Forensic Science in changing this from a missing person case to a murder case. Give examples.
Students will determine what they believe to be the answer to the question “Should Steven Avery have been convicted of the murder of Teresa Halbach?” They will showcase their decision in the form of a Google Slideshow and present their findings to the class.
The Sam Sheppard case is an internationally known case that was even used as the basis for the movie, “The Fugitive”. The real story, however, is much different than the movie. You will be creating a careful analysis of the Sam Sheppard case- what went wrong? Was the wrong man accused or was justice served? What did the evidence say?

Students will create a Google Slide presentation with all of this information, and share it with the class.

Pick a criminal of interest to you from the list Unit 3 Project Sign-Up and start researching history, crimes, story of conviction, etc. You will then create a presentation using Google Slides, PowerPoint, etc.
