Who is Mrs. Ressler?

My name is Amanda Ressler and I am a happily married Denville resident and Orange Public Schools teacher.

Some of my interests include reading, writing, listening to audio books, watching TV shows, going to see live music, spending time with my pets, and spending time with my friends.

I am a middle school Language Arts teacher and I love building relationships with students, families, and the community.

In addition to teaching Language Arts, I also coach the Orange Preparatory Academy debate team and act as the Production Manager for the district Performing Arts Department.

My sister, Stevie

My sister is a TV producer who works and lives in Los Angeles, California. She is 5 years younger than I am, and although she learned everything she knows from me, she somehow manages to be 10 times cooler.

My dog, Gypsy

Gypsy is an 11 year old dog who lives with her mom, dad and her (cat) brother Leo in Denville, NJ! She doesn't know it yet, but she has a (human) baby brother on the way too!

My cat, Leo

Leo is a sweet baby demon who I love very much. He believes that all of the new nursery items that we have in the house were purchased specifically for him.
