Summer Smackdown
The Technology Smackdown is a virtual professional development 2-day program. Fifty teachers will be trained on new technology tools and will receive refresher courses on current tools. None of the PD sessions promotes new tools that have costs associated with them. All participants are expected to turnkey what they have learned to their colleagues during Common Planning Time and faculty meetings. This PLC filled up in less than 5 hours and there is a waiting list. The PD facilitators will be available after the 2-day program to work with teachers who are still having difficulty with applying the technology programs.
The facilitators provide the PD for 50 teachers on new technology tools and refresher courses on current tools. None of the PD sessions promotes new tools that have costs associated with them.
