The Orange Engineering and Design Academy is a 4 year program for any student interested in pursuing careers in engineering. Students are placed in a grade level cohort, taking PLTW Engineering and core subject classes together. Instruction in all classes focuses on interdisciplinary, problem based, experiential learning. Through their involvement with OEDA, students will be exposed to real-world applications of their knowledge and skills. They will have opportunities to explore career options in engineering through job shadowing and internships.

The program is rigorous. Most of the engineering classes in the course of study are AP grade point weighted classes. Students will have the opportunity to take 8-10 AP and AP grade point weighted classes.
