ABOUT MRS. Jeffries:
I was born in Milford, Connecticut a mile from the beach. I did a gap year and then went South to attend North Carolina A&T State University. While in college, I met Mr. Jeffries and married him after graduation.
Currently, I have three grown children Tyler, Ashlynn and Sarah each wonderful in their own way. And YES, I am an empty nester minus my dog Boomer! In my spare time I enjoying cooking, baking, traveling, reading and shopping not in that order!
I have had the opportunity to participate in some wonderful professional development which led me to obtain a Master’s Degree, National Board Certification, a Kenan Fellowship and Teachers@ Work Externship. I believe in lifelong learning and currently looking for my next new learning experience for the future.... TBD!
I love teaching at Gravelly! I have been teaching at Gravelly for over 10 years and have over 20 years teaching experience. I have a genuine love for Gravelly Hill especially because I've had two children graduate from this wonderful school! I feel very blessed to be a Grizzly! I love the Students, Parents, Community, and School
