School Psychologist at Oradell Public School
No homework here! However, there are plenty of books you can enjoy with your children that promote positive behavior and help address social-emotional and mental health challenges. Here are a few of my favorites that approach these topics in a fun and age-appropriate way:
Captain Snout and the Super Power Questions by Daniel G. Amen
Enemy Pie by Derek Munson
Crankenstein by Samantha Berger
Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Curtis
My Brave Year of Firsts by Jamie Lee Curtis

The Oradell Child Study Team (CST) is a multidisciplinary group of professionals dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning, emotional, and behavioral needs. The OPS team includes a school psychologist, a learning disabilities teacher-consultant, and a school social worker. We also collaborate with other specialists as needed including Speech, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy. Their primary role of the child study team is to assess students, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and provide strategies to help children succeed in school. Our child study team works closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a holistic approach to each child's growth. Through evaluation, consultation, and intervention, the CST fosters an inclusive and supportive educational environment for all students.
