About Me

Hello, and welcome! My name is Jennifer Powers, and I have been teaching at Oradell Public School since September 2005. This year, I am excited to be team teaching with Mrs. Christie Jankowski. She will be teaching ELA (reading and writing), while I will focus on Math, Science, and Social Studies. Before joining Oradell, I spent a year teaching in another New Jersey district.

As a former athlete, I understand the challenges student-athletes face in balancing academics, athletics, and personal commitments. Even if your child is not involved in sports, I encourage parents to explore extracurricular activities—it’s important for kids to have fun and engage in interests beyond the classroom!

I am committed to supporting my students as they manage their responsibilities and strive for success both academically and personally. I look forward to challenging and inspiring your children this year!
