Hi Everyone, and Welcome to My Page!

Hello! Thank you for stopping by my site! My name is Kristin Filippone, and I’m proud to serve as a Special Education teacher at Oradell Public School. This is my first year teaching at OPS, and I am excited to be a new member of the team! I am passionate about supporting diverse learners and believe that every student deserves a personalized, inclusive, and empowering educational experience.

I have been working in special education for over 15 years, and my background includes working with students with a wide range of abilities and needs. My approach is centered on meeting students where they are and helping them reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. In the classroom I enjoy doing projects with students based on the current curriculum and their interests.

I hold a degree in Special Education from Fordham University, and I am certified in Childhood Education K-6 and Students with Disabilities K-12.

I look forward to working with other teachers and families to make this a meaningful and fun school year.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outside as much as possible!

I’m excited to be part of your child’s educational journey and look forward to a year of growth, connection, and success!
