About Me

Hello! My name is Karen Marron (Yes! It rhymes!), and I am thrilled to be your child's 4th-grade homeroom teacher! I also teach Language Arts in the general education setting. I am very excited to partner with Ms. Meredith Currlin this year, who teaches math, social studies, and science.

After changing careers in 2010, I taught in the Ridgewood and Wyckoff Public School Districts. I was initially an art major and worked as a professional graphic designer for over a decade. I joined OPS in 2016 and am pleased to return for my 10th year.

Our class motto is: Be Kind • Work Hard. I believe it embodies what each classroom community member should strive to achieve—every day. I hope all my students grow academically, socially, and creatively—while having fun and making special memories along the way.
