About Me

Welcome to K-Kapp!

I have been teaching for 19 years, with most of my experience in Kindergarten and first grade. This marks my 11th year in OPS! I’m blessed with a wonderful husband who works as a guidance counselor at PVHS, and two beautiful daughters who keep me on my toes. During the summer, I enjoy spending my time at a sleepaway camp.

It is truly thrilling to witness a child’s academic and social journey as they discover new ideas, develop important skills, and build meaningful relationships. Watching their confidence grow and their curiosity thrive is one of the most rewarding aspects of being an educator. Each milestone, no matter how big or small, is a step toward becoming the amazing individuals they are meant to be. 

Outside the classroom, some of my favorite things to do are dancing, designing and hosting parties, and spending quality time with family and friends! I also have a passion for crafting and creating, whether it’s designing unique projects, exploring new DIY ideas, or bringing creative visions to life. I love finding inspiration in everyday moments and using my imagination to make something special and meaningful.
