Schedule

A school counselor’s day-to-day schedule can vary widely, depending on the needs of individual students, class lessons, groups, or committee meetings. When a student requests to see a school counselor, teachers will contact me or Ms. Mason to see if one of us is available. Usually, teachers will excuse students right away, recognizing they will not be able to attend to the lesson with other matters on their mind. Sometimes, however, teachers are not able to excuse a student immediately. In those cases, another time will be determined between the teacher, student, and school counselor availability. Whenever possible, students are seen during their WIN time so they do not miss any new instruction.

I am generally not in OPS on Mondays. 

Tuesday-Friday, I am present in OPS part-time, and I am engaged in leading lunch groups from approximately 11 am-1 pm every day.
