Hi Everyone, and Welcome to My Page!
Hello and welcome! My name is Mrs. Jeffs, and I want to welcome everyone to a wonderful year ahead! This year marks my twentieth year at OPS, and I am thrilled to be working in third grade, providing both in-class support and resource room instruction.
Before becoming a teacher, I studied nutrition and biological sciences at Cornell University. After graduating, I loved working as a nutritionist and health writer in New York City for several years. I especially enjoyed teaching nutrition classes, which sparked my passion for education and inspired me to pursue teaching as a career.
I was delighted to join Oradell Public School as a kindergarten co-teacher nearly twenty years ago. Over the years, I have enjoyed working as a co-teacher and resource room teacher in kindergarten, first, second, and third grades.
Outside of the classroom, I love traveling, spending time with my family, exploring my hometown of New York City, walking and running, and reading great books.
Teaching students and being part of their learning journey fills my days at OPS with much joy and keeps me smiling. I look forward to another fantastic year together, filled with growth, discovery, achievements, and lots of smiles!
