To ensure that our students maintain good reading skills and that they continue to grow and learn throughout the summer, we would like to encourage everyone to read extensively over the summer break. Students are free to submit the reading log whenever they finish reading a book. K-8 students who complete this form will be awarded a certificate of recognition honoring their commitment to reading and literacy.
California’s public library summer reading programs foster communities of readers and library users. They provide youth with books and help them make guided reading choices, and they offer fun and enriching activities that extend the reading experience.
