Ms. Norton's Website

I am Cathy Norton, I grew up in the Conejo Valley. I have lived here all my life. I have been teaching for about 26 years. I have been teaching 6th grade Math/Science for 5 years at Medea Creek. I enjoy watching sports, outdoor activities and the beach. I love spending time with my family and friends. I have a daughter and a son. My daughter is going to college at Oklahoma State University and my son goes to college at Ole Miss.

All assignments will be either through Google classroom or parent square.

Looking forward to an exciting 2020/2021 school year.

Distance Learning

~Check Parent Square and students' school email for information and messages from Ms. Norton

~You will need to check Google Classroom for class assignments. materials and turning in work. Parents please ask students to see Google Classroom weekly, this will allow you to see assignments being taught.

Language Arts

~ Reading: Read at least 30 minutes a day at least 5 days a week

~Vocabulary: Complete a minimum of Membean 30 minutes a week outside of class time. Your goal is to maintain at least 70% accuracy to earn full credit. You will take an assessment about every two weeks.

~Grammar: Khan Academy... You will complete a certain amount of assignments per week.
