Content featured here reflects contributions from members and does not necessarily represent the views, positions, or decisions of the Local Executive or OPSEU/SEFPO. By sharing member-led initiatives, we aim to encourage engagement, collaboration, and information exchange across our Local.

The Community Bulletin Board is a space for members to share information, events, opportunities, and initiatives that may be of interest to our Local. Our goal is to foster a respectful, inclusive, and informative forum where members can connect and support one another.
Members are welcome to submit:
Community events and volunteer opportunities.
Educational, training, and professional development opportunities.
Charitable initiatives and fundraising events.
Member achievements and community involvement.
Wellness, social, cultural, and recreational activities.
Labour, workplace, or community initiatives that may be of interest to Local members.
Other non-commercial information relevant to our membership.
To help maintain a welcoming environment, all submissions must:
Be respectful, courteous, and inclusive.
Be relevant to the interests of Local members.
Be accurate to the best of the submitter's knowledge.
Respect the privacy, confidentiality, and intellectual property rights of others.
Comply with applicable laws and OPSEU/SEFPO policies.
The Local reserves the right to decline submissions that:
Contain discriminatory, harassing, hateful, or offensive language or imagery.
Include personal attacks, defamatory statements, or knowingly false or misleading information.
Promote violence, intimidation, or illegal activities.
Violate privacy, confidentiality, or copyright.
Are primarily commercial in nature or intended to advertise or sell products or services.
Promote or oppose a political party, candidate, or partisan political campaign.
Are inconsistent with OPSEU/SEFPO's commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, human rights, and respectful workplaces.
All submissions are reviewed before being posted. The Local Executive or its designate may edit submissions for grammar, clarity, length, formatting, or accessibility without changing their intended meaning. The Local also reserves the right to decline any submission that does not meet these guidelines.
