The Orchard Park Central School District offers a music education program that begins in the earliest grades and continues through graduation. Recognized as one of the Best Communities for Music Education by The NAMM Foundation for nine consecutive years, the district ensures that all students have access to high-quality instruction and opportunities to grow as musicians.
Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of ensembles, starting in 4th grade, including choir, band, jazz groups, orchestra, and musicals at all levels. These ensembles foster musicianship, teamwork, and leadership, while connecting students with the broader community.
Orchard Park students are regularly involved in solo festivals and honor ensembles held by organizations such as NYSSMA, ECMEA, and NYSBDA. Many are invited to perform in county, area, and state-level ensembles, reflecting the level of dedication and instruction within the program. These successes highlight the district’s tradition of excellence and celebrate the accomplishments of students representing Orchard Park on larger stages.
