When you are invited to attend a Google Meet with your teacher, you will need to follow these rules:

1.) Turn off your microphone if it is not already turned off.

2.) Do NOT change the background in a school Google Meet.

3.) Make sure you are ready for a school meeting:

• sitting up

• entire face is visible in the screen

• do not bring toys, cell phones, games, pets, or other people to your meeting

• have all your supplies

• behave like you would in school

4.) If you need to speak to the teacher/class, click the raise your hand icon or use the chat box in the upper right corner of the screen.

5.) Make sure you are only typing school appropriate things into the chat box.

6.) Keep your camera on, unless your teacher gives you permission to turn it off.

7.) Select a location to stay at for your entire Google Meeting. Do not pick up your computer or tablet and walk around with it.

8.) NEVER record a school Google Meeting.
