To access CLEVER, just open a new tab in Chrome and it should open automatically with your school settings
Sora is an app that allow students to access our school’s eBook and audio book library from home. It should already be installed on student Chromebooks and available through CLEVER.

Prodigy English is a fantasy game that reviews English language and reading comprehension based on first through fifth grade Common Core ELA standards. Students explore a virtual village where their avatar gathers supplies, builds things, and buys and sells in virtual marketplaces.

It is an extension that will read online text aloud to you. You may find this helpful with fluency and comprehension.
To enable the extension, tap on the puzzle piece in your extensions and click on options. Make sure it is enabled. Once the extension is enabled, double-click on the word you want to start reading from in the text and hit play!
To practice reading aloud, practice passages using Fluency Tutor. Passages may be posted in Google Classroom.
However, you can use this extension to send me anything interesting you use to practice your fluency skills!

Newsela is a database of current events news articles and stories.
Organized by theme (like War and Peace, Arts, Science, Health, Law, Money), stories are both student-friendly and can be accessed in different formats by reading level.

IXL is a fun, interactive way to improve skills in language arts and math.
We use IXL to practice those skills. To access IXL, you should go through CLEVER.
PRO TIP: Try to get mastery in a lot of different skills, rather than replaying the same skills over for points.

Edpuzzle allows your teachers to post videos with comprehension checkpoints throughout. This is going to be really helpful as we learn from home this year!

Read Works offers students articles and reading passages that allow you to practice reading comprehension strategies as you read.
You can SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE using the link, or you can log in through CLEVER.
