How to use Google Classroom for parents!
In this video parents and guardians will learn everything they need to know in order to best support their students with using Google Classroom.
Google Classroom is a digital classroom platform where teachers most assignments, materials, announcements, and more. In this video, you'll learn how to optimize the settings of Google Classroom to best suit the needs of your family, how students can join classes, how students can look up what assignments they still need to complete, as well as what assignments have already been graded.
You'll also learn how to use the calendar function to support with time management, how students can ask public and private questions, as well as how to receive email notification about missing and upcoming work directly to your inbox.
Trouble Shooting for Account sign in and Document access
This video will explain how to make sure that you are signed in to the correct Google account. In order to use Classroom, you must be signed in to your opsb.info account. It is best to sign into Chrome as a whole rather than just the classroom app. To do this, find the icon located on your browser as pictured below. It may be your initials in a circle, or it may be an image that you have uploaded to your Google profile like my example below.

Sometimes, we will do the Nearpods live, which means you will be participating with your classmates and me. Other times, the lesson will be student paced and you will go through it independently. :)
