I graduated from West Monroe High School in 1993. I received my BA and my Master of Arts in Teaching degrees from Louisiana Tech University (1997 and 2010 respectively).

I am married - and he also happens to be a teacher! We got married on the beach (the irony of getting married ON the beach and that my last name would become Beach was lost on me until after the fact!) in the Florida Keys in February 2012. We have one adorable little boy, Billy, who is 4 years old. (Note: a lot of my stories will involve Billy!). We have one dog, Dixie.
