News

Less than a year old, our newest fire station on the campus of Blue Valley Southwest High School is something to see. Check out a virtual tour of Fire Station #48 with Captain Tyler Butts. He'll show you where we live and work when we're on duty.

Along with Fire Station #48 came a new partnership with the Blue Valley School District. OPFD now administers Blue Valley's new Career Ready, Fire Science program. High school students report to our Fire Training Center for classes in EMS, hazardous materials and firefighting. We look forward to the day some of these graduates wear the OPFD patch!
