Unique opportunities at this year’s HS Forum include built-in time for team time over lunch and a role-alike discussion on Tuesday morning with school staff in a similar role. We will have a MTSS Q&A Staff Panel on Monday afternoon with district representatives from Lewistown, Belt, Helena, and more who are implementing MTSS in a secondary environment successfully. Tuesday, we will close with a Youth Panel with our event ending at 1:00 pm to allow for travel time home.

Success inside and outside of school is intrinsically tied to mental health and wellness of a student. Additionally, the climate of a school greatly influences the attendance and participation of a student and can directly impact student mental health and wellness. Montana students are the greatest stakeholders when it comes to their health and success. This panel will feature Montana high-school students as they share their experiences and provide recommendations on how schools can support their mental health, wellness, and feelings of connection at school.
