Due to allergies, all snacks must adhere to our district wide nut free policy, students should not bring snacks with nuts in the ingredients list or snacks that are processed on equipment that processes nuts. Recommended snacks include fresh or dried fruits & veggies, apple squeezers, yogurt pouches, plain/salted popcorn, and pretzels. If you have any questions about snacks, just ask! Again, all snacks must be nut free.
Our class has P.E. on Monday & Tuesday. Students MUST have gym shoes in order to participate.
Please send in a water bottle for your child to use at school so they can get water throughout the day. "Spillproof" water bottles are ideal.

There are many lunch options each day and all lunches include milk (white or chocolate). Each day, these are the choices students will be given:

3rd grade students will need their iPads for school each day. It is important that they have a charged iPad and working headphones with a microphone every day. Here are ways we use our iPads:

If you are interested in coming in and reading a short book to the class we would love to have you. Mystery Readers will take place on Friday mornings from 8:10 - 8:25. Drop your student off and then sign in at the office. Office staff will send you up when it's time.

Plan Ahead: Chaperone Background Checks For FIELD TRIPS
A background check is required for anyone who wishes to chaperone on a field trip. This is a process that must be completed every 3 years. District 97 keeps all information obtained during a background check confidential. It can take a while to get an appointment and results take 7-10 business days, so please plan ahead if this is something that interests you!
