A) Job Application
B) Minimum Age: 18
C) Education: High School Diploma
D) Interview with standard questions that will be the same for each candidate
i. Carpentry Experience - Previous positions have scope of responsibility and control that prepares them to be a carpenter. Need not match scope of carpentry.
ii. Accomplishments - Performs assigned tasks well, delivers reliable,
high-quality results.
iii. Team Style – Works well with others, accepts valid criticism, & etc…
iv. Background Test and References
v. Basic Carpenter Test – Union Online Test sent to candidates during
interview.
E) Cognitive Test: Truity - This is an additional method of learning the
candidate/not a minimum, but is scored and compared with other candidates
F) Physical: Negative Drug Test and Carpenters Physical Demand
