These rubric samples are intended to help new teachers understand the formatting of a quality rubric. Each rubric aligns with standards within subject area, and has specific wording so that the teacher's grading is not subjective, and the student clearly understands their expectations. It is highly recommended to hand out rubrics at the beginning of an assignment so that students understand what is expected from them. Please double check your specific subject state standards here.
