cloudBIM and the Semantic Bridge connect across a growing ecosystem of industry groups, standards efforts, and domain experts, including C4SB, the Linux Foundation, C4SB Working Groups, buildingSMART USA, the Asset Leadership Network, and others.

The goal is not to replace these efforts, merge them into one master standard, or claim one universal source of truth. Each group brings its own expertise, language, tools, and priorities.

Our role is to help identify the minimum useful connections between them — the IDs, relationships, locations, and live access points that allow building information to move across BIM, GIS, asset management, operations, semantics, work orders, sensors, and AI.

This is a do-ocracy: connect something, test it, expose it, improve it, and let others build on it.

We are not taking over other groups.
We are helping connect the smallest useful pieces so the whole ecosystem can work.
